This week, while we are still recovering from excessive levels of triptophan (or from the sight of the luau pig!), we have started our strategy document. Muito importante. This is going to be, well, one huge document. (I say huge as one of the "non-graduate-studies" members of the group- I think I wrote a twenty page paper once...maybe...or I at least read a twenty page book!) The strategy will contain all our plans for once we get to Brazil. Yes, as a matter of fact I am quite intimidated by this whole process, but I know we can do it. Let me restate that- I know we can write it. Whether or not we can finish the first draft by the deadline (the 17th) is yet to be seen. Please keep us in your prayers as we work on it.

One other thing to keep in your prayers: Alicia, Mary Virginia and Travis are all finishing up in the next two weeks. Soon, very soon, they will graduate and won't have to worry about papers and lesson plans and all that. We are so proud of them. I don't know how they've managed to juggle it so far, but they've done a great job (no matter what a certain language teacher may think!).
