Here is the text of an email that Keith sent out about Brandon's surgery yesterday. Praise the Lord!

Good afternoon from Dallas,
I just wanted to keep everyone up to date with what was going on with Brandon's first surgery.

Let me just say that our doctors are awesome and did a fantastic job. The surgery was around 2 hours, and everything went great. Brandon's lip correction looks verry good. In fact you can now see the resemblence in Brandon and Brock! :-)
Following surgery, Stacey and I were able to see and hold him in the recovery room. There was very little swelling and actually his stiches looked "painted on" (to quote our friend, Brennon). The only problem that he had was that his veins would "blow out" and they would have to replace his IV over and over and over again...He looks like a pin cushion.

He is now in a private room and is resting somewhat comfortably (with the help of morphene) and is starting to swell a little. But it is amazing what a couple of hours, a few stitches and a talented team can do. We have a new face to look at!

I know many of you have been and continue to pray for us and the success of the surgery. Thank you! "Had it not been the Lord who was on our side..." That is so true. Really and truthfully we can tell that all of the prayers that have been offered up on our behalf have been answered to the fullest extent and we have been truly blessed. We know that the success today was a direct result of prayer.

We are hopeful that Brandon will be released to our hotel room tomorrow afternoon, and we will get to go home sometime on Sunday. We will return back to Dallas next Thursday to have the stitches removed.
